Please keep this in mind: Diel is a wellness and self-awareness tool. It does not measure cortisol, diagnose, treat, prevent, or monitor a medical condition, and it is not a medical device.

Agreement

These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Diel. By downloading or using the Diel app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

What Diel does

Diel uses selected Apple Health data and information you provide to calculate a relative stress index against your personal baseline. It is intended to help you notice patterns in stress and recovery. It does not claim to measure cortisol or any other hormone.

Health disclaimer

Diel’s index and insights are for general informational and wellness purposes only. They are not medical advice and should not be used to make decisions about diagnosis, treatment, medication, or emergencies. Talk with a qualified healthcare professional about health concerns. If you think you may be experiencing an emergency, contact local emergency services.

Your responsibilities

Use Diel lawfully and in accordance with Apple’s terms and policies.
Keep your device, Apple Health permissions, and any exported information secure.
Review insights thoughtfully; a relative score can be affected by missing or inaccurate data.
Do not reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the app.

Your data

Our Privacy Policy explains how Diel handles health data, information you enter, analytics, and purchases.

Availability and changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue Diel or any feature at any time. We aim to keep the app useful and reliable but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Subscriptions and refunds

If Diel offers paid features or a subscription, pricing and renewal terms are shown before purchase. Apple processes payments through your App Store account. Cancellations and refunds are handled under Apple’s applicable policies.

Intellectual property

Diel, its name, software, content, and design belong to Diel or its licensors. You receive a personal, limited, non-transferable license to use the app on devices you own or control.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Diel is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for losses arising from your use of the app or reliance on an index or insight. Some jurisdictions do not allow all limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
